Flowering Bones is an ongoing,
multi-dimensional dialogue between two women.
They may be childhood friends, perhaps they are sisters
or even lovers;
yet theirs may be only one voice, an inner dialogue that explores
loss and renewal, despair and survival,
wilting and blossoming and the vague divide
between life and death.
Flowering Bones is a single poetic unit that takes place
in the continuous present.
The narrative is rich with literary allusions.
It brings to life new and ancient myths of fertility
rites immersed with the land and cycle of the seasons.
Blurring the borders between past and present,
between prose and poetry, it creates a mythic, almost cabalistic experience,
in which bones flower with the potency of language.
